10th Graduation 2007
The 10th Graduation Ceremony of
CCE was held on 31 March 2007. A total of 16 candidates completed
their studies. Eleven received the degree Bachelor of Education (B.Ed),
4 completed the Advanced Certificate in Education (ACE) and one
candidate completed the Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
The graduandi comprise a multicultural group, including students from
Germany, Swaziland, Sudan, Rwanda, as well as the different racial
groups of South Africa. Miss Erika Schartner (a student from Germany and
also the previous primaria) received the Special Award of best student
in Education.
Prof Barry Richter - Director; School for Curriculum Based Studies, came
all the way from North West University (more that 700 km) to do the
presentations and wards. The guest speaker was Mr. D Neuhaus, coordinator
of the Association of Christian School International; (ACSI) in
Francophone Europe.
Rev. Erlo Stegen spoke on the narrow way,
as found in Matt. 7:13,14. (The real sound version as well as a typed
summary will be available). The Brass Band of Domino Servite School as
well as the CCE Choir rendered high quality and enjoyable items. We
thank God that He has brought us this far and we trust Him for our
future, that we will be truly "SANCTUS DEO" - Holy unto the Lord.
