Psalm 72 & 73

Here we see the man of God David on his deathbed penning his last words. We see him not focusing only on himself or his kingdom but on the eternal Kingdom of the Messiah. He ends his life in triumph worshiping God. He even prophesies about our day that all nations and people shall be blessed in Him, the Messiah.
Compare this with Ps 73:17 how the wicked ends their days. Asaph was confused at first at the prosperity of the wicked, but then the Lord showed him their end. They are driven by fear and end their days in fear.
In contrast we read in verse 23 how the Godly are continually with the Lord.
Asaph had many doubts but concludes in triumph that God is holding his hand.
"you shall lead me with Your counsel and afterwards receive me to glory."
