News from past students

Erika Schartner - 2006

I'm very thankful for receiving the recognition in Germany for two of my subjects, Maths and Physics. In Chemistry I will still have to pass three exams first (two written exams and one oral). In the mean time I got a teaching post at a Christian school close to the KSB congregation in Bielstein and I'm busy teaching there since the beginning of August. I enjoy it very much since I am sure that that's the place where the Lord wants me to be. Of course life is not always easy but I know that the Lord is with me. He knows everything and He will help me.

Manasse Mukheshimana - 2006

My home country is Rwanda, but I am currently teaching in Johannesburg. My teaching contract has been renewed, for which I am very thankful. The teaching is going well; only the teacher's strike interrupted our program a bit. As we were about to write exams the strike started and some teachers did not manage to complete their programmes; some learners are now requested to attend classes during winter holidays, especially Grade 12. Some learners couldn't write exams because of security reasons (intimidation). They will write their papers during the first week of 3rd term.

Claudia Muller - 2005

I have finished my studies at CCE with the Graduation in April 2006. After that I have returned to Germany and asked for the recognition of my studies in Germany. My B Ed degree was accepted and I could start with my "Referendariat". The "Referendariat" is what every becoming teacher in Germany has to do after the completion of his or her studies at university. During one and a half years the former student now practically learns how to teach his or her major subjects. So I am learning now how to teach French and Biology.

Erika Werner (nee Lepp) - 2004

I'm Erika Werner, married to Markus for almost 2 years. We enjoy our daughter Marielle who is 4 months old. We belong to the congregation in Bielstein, it's very near to our home, so we can go there often. I enjoy caring for my little family, and working in the congregation. Besides, I'm the sister of Helene Moses who studied at the College, as well.
